Canadian attitudes toward fur and seal products
Explore a national Leger study commissioned by the Fur Institute of Canada.
1,514 Canadian adults | July 31–August 2, 2026
The figures of 78%, 71%, and 62% are based on respondents who answered each question. Those who did not answer were omitted; this amounted to 35% for the public discussion question, 38% for the question about impact on Indigenous communities, and 30% for the harvesting and sale question. For the other survey percentages, all respondents are included unless otherwise stated.
